This is the first edition of the Bruichladdich Laddie Classic, matured in American oak casks and bottled in 2012 at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
Bruichladdich stands on the north shore of Loch Indaal on the island of Islay. The distillery uses open stills that are not especially tall, and it runs its own bottling operation, the only one on Islay.
