This is the Bruichladdich Links 'St Andrews Swilcan Bridge', an Islay single malt bottled at 46% ABV in a 50cl bottle. It is a limited release in the Links series, in which each label features a different golf course, and this edition was made with golf course painter Graeme Baxter.
It was matured in PX casks and bourbon casks. The PX brings sweet, juicy fruit, while the bourbon casks add vanilla and sweet oak.
The palate balances oak, malt, and dark and light fruits, with a smooth, medium body. The finish is sweet and oaky, with the fruit lingering.
