Octomore 13.1 is a single malt from Bruichladdich, made from Scottish barley and bottled at 59.2% in a 70cl bottle.
It is very heavily peated, at a level of 137.3, and spent roughly six years maturing in American oak casks, including first-fill casks.
The whisky is described as complex and densely smoky, with honeyed fruit, sweet Turkish delight, hints of citrus and spicy aniseed. A little water can be added if you wish.
