Octomore 14.1 is a five-year-old single malt from Bruichladdich, bottled at 59.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is made from 100% Scottish Concerto barley from the 2016 harvest, distilled in 2017 and peated to 128.9 ppm.
The whisky was matured in first-fill ex-American whiskey casks. It is the base expression of the 14th annual Octomore series.
On the nose it is described as sweet caramel and vanilla, with bright citrus cutting through the smoke, along with roasted coffee and subtle spice.
