Octomore 15.1 Bourbon Cask is a heavily peated Islay single malt from Bruichladdich. The barley was malted to 108.2 PPM, which gives the intense peat character of the Octomore series. The whisky matured in a combination of first-fill bourbon barrels and re-charred ex-bourbon casks. It is described as pairing powerful smoke with layers of vanilla, citrus and sweet oak.
