Bruichladdich Organic Barley 16 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Bruichladdich Distillery on the island of Islay. It is made from 100% organically grown Scottish barley and matured for 16 years in oak casks.
It is bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and with no added colour. The colour is a deep golden amber.
The nose offers dried fruit, vanilla, toffee and honey with a malty note. The palate is smooth, with fruit, light citrus and honey alongside spice, vanilla and oak. The finish is long, with gentle sweetness and spice.
