Bruichladdich – The Classic Laddie 10 Year Old (70cl, 50%)

The Classic Laddie is a 10 year old Bruichladdich single malt, bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour, and was matured in American and Spanish oak. It is not made to a fixed recipe. Each year the variety and provenance of the barley shape the spirit, and a widening range of casks is used, so every batch differs subtly. The Head Distiller blends the batch to show the floral, elegant Bruichladdich house style. The nose opens with barley sugar and a hint of mint, then freshly cut wild flowers including buttercup, daisy, meadowsweet, myrtle, primrose and cherry blossom. The palate combines ripe green fruit, brown sugar and sweet malt.
