The Classic Laddie is a single malt from the Bruichladdich distillery on Islay, made from unpeated barley. It is bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and without added colouring.
The whisky is matured in a mix of American oak, European oak and former sherry casks.
The nose is fresh and fruity, with citrus, green apple, a touch of sea salt and light smokiness, along with a gentle sweetness and a floral note. On the palate come vanilla and honey, green apples and citrus, with cinnamon and pepper. The finish is of medium length, with light spice, a fine thread of smoke, and a little honey and vanilla.
