This is an Islay single malt Scotch from Bruichladdich, bottled as a travel exclusive in a 70cl bottle at 50% ABV. It is matured in sherry casks and is non-chill-filtered and free of added colour.
The sherry influence is described as intense, with vanilla and toffee from the cask alongside a trace of oak and a light maltiness.
On the nose there are dark dried fruits, raisins and figs, with fruit and spice. The palate is velvety and round, with ripe fruit, dark berries, a hint of cinnamon and subtle maritime notes. The finish is warm and long.
