Bruichladdich – The Organic 2009

Bruichladdich The Organic 2009 is an Islay single malt made from organic barley. The barley comes from a local farm, and the whisky is meant to reflect the landscape around it. It was matured in American oak barrels and bottled after eight years. The outturn is 50,000 bottles. The nose brings orange, lemon, floral notes, citrus and spices. The palate is very creamy, with clear barley character, and the finish is medium in length and warming.
