Bruichladdich – The Organic 2011 11 Year Old (70cl, 50%)

A distillery bottling of the 11 year old Bruichladdich Organic 2011 from Islay, released in summer 2022 in a 70cl bottle at 50%. It is bottled without colouring or chill filtration and now sits in the distillery's core range. Bruichladdich Organic is an ongoing series of vintage whiskies made from organic barley sourced from across Scotland, since Islay has no organic-registered barley producers. This edition used barley from Mid Coul farm in the Scottish Highlands, and matured for 11 years in first fill ex-bourbon casks. The distillery has worked with organic barley since 2003 and bottled its first organic whisky in 2009. The flavours combine fruit with vanilla fudge.
