Bruichladdich The Organic 2011 is an Islay single malt made from organically grown Scottish barley from Mid Coul farm, near Inverness. It was distilled in 2011, matured for 11 years in first-fill Bourbon casks and bottled at 50% ABV.
The nose is aromatic, floral and fruity, with pear, creamy vanilla, fudge and a touch of oak. On the palate it is creamy, with vanilla and a hint of toasted malt. The finish is long and balanced, with maritime and oak notes.
