Bruichladdich The Organic 2011 is an Islay single malt at 50% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is made from organic barley grown on Mid Coul Farm in the north of Scotland, which the Rose family has farmed since 1912. The distillery has taken organic barley from the farm since 2003. The farm grows without artificial fertilisers or pesticides and rotates the barley with other crops, so it is not harvested every year. The spirit was distilled slowly and matured on Islay. It belongs to the Bruichladdich Barley Provenance series.
