Bruichladdich – The Organic 2011 (70cl, 50%)

Bruichladdich The Organic 2011 is an unpeated Islay single malt made from organically grown barley from Mid Coul Farm, grown by the Rose family, which gives the whisky its name. It was distilled in 2011 and matured for 11 years in oak casks. It is bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. The nose is led by barley and breakfast cereals, with lemon zest, vanilla and oak. The palate is creamy, with melon, apricot and cumin, then cereals and oak again. The finish is medium-long, with hay, white chocolate and oak.
