Bruichladdich 'Waves' is a single malt Scotch whisky from Islay, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is medium-peated and made from a mix of bourbon and Madeira casks of different ages.
The nose is fresh and fruity, with pear, green apple, apricot and a little oak spice, and perhaps a slight smoky note. The palate is mild and creamy with a touch of fruity sweetness, grassy notes and green apple, turning slightly dry over time.
The finish is medium in length and dry, with a hint of bitterness.
