This is a 12 year old Bunnahabhain from the 2026 CS edition, in a 70cl bottle at 55.8% ABV.
The distillery sits on the north-eastern corner of Islay, facing Jura across the Sound of Islay. It was built in 1881, and a long winding road had to be laid down to the shore first. Its water comes from an underground spring, the Margadale, and is relatively low in peat for Islay.
The founders' descendants owned the distillery until 2003. Burn Stewart Distillers is the current owner.
