This is a 2018 Bunnahabhain single malt from the Islay distillery, bottled under the Single Malts of Scotland label at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Bunnahabhain stands on the north-eastern corner of Islay, on the Sound of Islay directly opposite Jura. It was so remote when it was built in 1881 that a long, winding road had to be laid down to the sea first.
The water used for distilling comes from an underground spring, the Margadale river, and is relatively low in peat for Islay.
