Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old is a single malt from the Bunnahabhain distillery on the island of Islay, bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose is fruity and spiced, with a light sea breeze and only a faint touch of smoke. On the palate honey, nuts, vanilla and some fruit come through, with a gentle sweetness and smoke sitting quietly in the background. The finish is long and warming, with spice and light oak, and the smoke becomes a little more noticeable.
