The 2023 cask strength edition of Bunnahabhain 12 Years, an Islay single malt matured in ex-sherry casks. It is a limited release, bottled at 60.1% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers red fruit, plums, raisins, nuts, chocolate, caramel and malt. The palate starts firmly, with hazelnuts, cherries, cacao, spice, malt and wood. The finish is medium in length, with dark chocolate and plums to the fore.
