Bunnahabhain 1968 45th Anniversary Silvano Samaroli is a single malt bottled at 40%. It marks 45 years of collaboration between Bunnahabhain and Silvano Samaroli, an Italian independent bottler, and was made in 1968 and matured for a long time in the distillery's coastal warehouses. It is described as a limited edition. The nose offers dried fruit, aged oak, golden honey and subtle maritime notes. The palate is silky and velvety, with melting caramel, dark chocolate, dried figs and orange marmalade, plus a touch of sea salt. The finish is long, leaving ripe fruit, spiced oak and gentle peat.
