This is a 30 year old Islay single malt from Bunnahabhain, distilled in 1989 and bottled by Hunter Laing for the 2019 release of its Kinship Collection. It is bottled at 48.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky spent three decades in a refill sherry butt and a refill American oak hogshead.
The nose is warm and fresh, with dried fruits, sea breeze and rich oak. On the palate there are succulent flowers, creamy vanilla, dried fruits and sea salt.
