This is a 28 year old Islay single malt from Bunnahabhain, distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2019 by Wilson & Morgan at 44.9% in a 70cl bottle. It is completely unpeated and was matured in second-fill bourbon casks.
The whisky is golden, with a robust but silky body. The aroma is delicate, honeyed, fragrant and flowery. It shows mineral and waxy notes, a sweet malty creaminess and a polite fruitiness, with no tannic harshness.
