Bunnahabhain – 2007 14 Year Old The First Editions (58.3%)

This is a 14 year old Bunnahabhain from Islay, bottled independently by Hunter Laing in its First Editions series. It was distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2022 from a single refill hogshead, cask HL 18990, yielding 277 bottles. It is bottled at a cask strength of 58.3%, without chill filtration or added colour. The nose brings almonds, apples, pears and sea spray. The palate shows dried grass, caramelised apples and dark chocolate, and the finish is long, with a lasting sweetness.
