This is the 2025 cask strength release of Bunnahabhain 21 Year Old, a single malt bottled at 53.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Bunnahabhain has issued a cask strength 21 year old each year for the past five years.
Most of its life was spent in ex-Oloroso casks, followed by a final 21 months in Pedro Ximénez casks.
It is described as having creamy berries, roasted nuts and gentle sea spray, with a sweet, syrupy layer from the sherry casks that coats the palate with lingering figs and molasses.
