Bunnahabhain – 30 Year Old

This is the first batch of Bunnahabhain's 30 year old, a newer addition to the core range. It was matured entirely in ex-sherry casks by the coast, and it is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The distillery describes the whisky as shaped by the salty air of Bunnahabhain Bay over three decades. The result is rich and sweet, with strawberries, cream, honey nut cereals and toffee. The nose offers butterscotch, beeswax and sweet sherry. Strawberries and cream lead the palate, developing into honey nut cereals and plenty of rich toffee. The finish is sweetened Jamaican coffee and oak.
