A single malt from Bunnahabhain, on the north coast of Islay, bottled at 50% ABV in a 1 litre bottle. An Cladach is Gaelic for the coast, a reference to the distillery's position by the sea.
It matured entirely in sherry casks, and is non-chill-filtered with no added colour. It is not a smoky malt.
The nose offers dried fruit, caramel and vanilla alongside rich sherry and a faint sea breeze. The palate is soft and creamy, with sherry, roasted nuts, spiced oak and a touch of salt. The finish is long, with dried fruit and a light maritime edge.
