Bunnahabhain Aonadh is a 10 year old limited edition Islay single malt, bottled at 56.2% in a 70cl bottle. Only 14,088 bottles were filled, and the whisky is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
It was distilled and filled into cask on 7 February 2011. The whisky joins Bunnahabhain finished in port casks with malt fully matured in sherry casks, the two brought together after maturation.
The nose is creamy vanilla with brandy butter, caramel, berries and a little oak. On the palate, sweet red and black fruits meet cinnamon, roasted nuts and a slight saltiness. The finish is long, with a fading spice that recalls chilli chocolate and floral candy.
