Bunnahabhain – Samaroli Infinity 1974-2014 Full Proof (70cl, 43.6%)

This is an independent bottling of Bunnahabhain single malt from the Italian bottler Samaroli, part of their Concept range. The whisky was distilled in 1974 and bottled in 2014 at 43.6% ABV, after around four decades of maturation, in a 70cl bottle. The nose is rich with peppered fruit and wood spices. The palate turns more savoury, with umami, sea salt and a grip of oak, and the finish brings brine, tinned fruit and oak.
