Bunnahabhain Stiùireadair is an unpeated Islay single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle. The name is Scots Gaelic for 'helmsman', a nod to the distillery's close connection with the sea.
It is matured in a combination of first-fill and second-fill sherry casks, which bring dried-fruit richness alongside a maritime freshness. It is naturally coloured and non-chill filtered.
The nose has dried fruit, creamy caramel, brine, vanilla, nuts and gentle spice. The palate is creamy, with dried fruits, sea salt, caramel, honey-roasted nuts, cinnamon and clove, and the finish is long with sherried fruit and a subtle coastal note.
