The name translates from Scots Gaelic as 'Smoky Two', and it follows the original peated expression. It is matured in a blend of ex-bourbon and sherry casks. The smoke is subtle, with a lively strength and a lingering, sweet sherry character. On the nose, peat comes with hints of sherry and rich oak. The palate opens with warming peat before turning to sweet Oloroso sherry and oak, balanced by delicate pepper. The finish is long.
