Bunnahabhain – Toiteach A Dhà Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46.3%)

Bunnahabhain Toiteach A Dhà is a peated Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46.3% ABV. The name means 'Smoky Two' in Scots Gaelic, and the whisky is a smoky departure from the distillery's usually unpeated style. It is made from peated malted barley and matured in ex-Bourbon and Sherry casks. It is natural colour and non-chill filtered. The nose offers peat smoke, sherry and rich oak. On the palate come warming smoke, sweet Oloroso sherry, dark chocolate, pepper and toasted oak. The finish is long and robust, with drying sherry, oak, pepper and a gentle coastal saltiness.
