Buzzard's Roost Char #1 Rye is a rye whiskey blended from up to four or five flavour-specific barrels, and it was the first product released by Buzzard's Roost. The blend is built to hold up in a cocktail as well as on its own.
The nose is wood, sweetness and citrus, with dark chocolate and dark fruit beneath. The palate is warm and spice-forward, with confection and caramel. The finish is long, with sweetness, spice and toasted oak.
