Buzzard's Roost Toasted Barrel Rye (75cl)

Buzzard's Roost Toasted Barrel Rye is an American rye whiskey in a 75cl bottle, made from a 95% rye mash bill. It is matured in toasted-only barrels, left uncharred, with the toast profile designed to bring out sweetness, smoke and confectionery character. It is described as a nose-heavy whiskey with a overwhelming richness and a slight hint of wood and smoke. The nose is dominated by pumpkin pie, bread pudding, crème brûlée and freshly toasted wood. The palate is rich and creamy, with the sweetness carrying through and the spice of the rye adding some grip. The finish is long, with hints of vanilla and wafer.
