Ca' del Bosco Franciacorta Vintage Collection Saten

A Franciacorta from Ca' del Bosco in the Saten style, made solely from Chardonnay. The grapes undergo careful vinification and the wine matures on the lees for at least 36 months. It is bright straw-yellow with golden reflections and has a very fine, persistent perlage. The nose shows delicate white-fleshed fruit, sweet almond and light brioche notes. On the palate it is creamy, with a surprising balance between acidity and softness, and a long, clean, refined finish. It is suited to a high-level aperitif or delicate fish and seafood dishes, served at 6 to 8 degrees Celsius.
