It shows good concentration with an elegant profile, lively acidity balancing the fruit and a tannic texture that is present but well integrated. The drinking is smooth and sustained, with a cleanliness typical of cooler climates, and it has good complexity with the capacity to evolve over time without losing freshness.
It pairs successfully with red meats, roasts and aged cheeses, and also suits traditional dishes and preparations with mushrooms or braised game. It is worth opening after a few years, or now for those who prefer a more mature wine. Serve around 16-18 °C.
