Ritterhof Lagrein Alto Adige DOC is a deep ruby red wine from Alto Adige. It shows mature black fruit, cherry and plum, with undergrowth notes and sweet spice, plus a mineral vein and fresh acidity that keep the profile lean and pleasant.
On the palate it is full and enveloping, with present but polished tannins supporting the structure. The fruit returns clearly and the finish lingers with light earthy sensations. It suits grilled meats, stews, aged cheeses, mushrooms and roasted vegetables.
