A magnum of Lagrein from Alto Adige, presented in a 1500 ml bottle. It shows an intense ruby colour with violet hues, with aromas of ripe dark fruit, plum and black cherry, delicate floral notes and a light spicy touch. On the palate it has structure and freshness, with present but smooth tannins, savouriness and a pleasant fruity finish.
It suits roast meats, red meat, game, aged cheeses and mountain dishes. Serve at around 16-18 C. The magnum format encourages sharing and a more harmonious evolution in bottle, making it suitable for immediate drinking or short cellaring.
