Cadenhead's An Orkney 2016 6 Year Old (70cl, 46%)

This is a 6 year old unpeated single malt from a distillery on the island of Orkney, selected and bottled by the independent bottler Cadenhead. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was aged entirely in ex-bourbon casks. It is non-chill-filtered, with natural colour, and is a limited edition. The nose is usually described as custard and heather honey. On the palate it is unctuous and almost creamy, with nougat and exotic fruit, and hints of ash.
