This is the second release in the St Magnus series from Highland Park, a 12 year old single malt distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2010 at 55% abv. It is part of the Inga Saga Trilogy and came in a presentation box in a 70cl bottle. The edition is dedicated to the craftsmen who built St Magnus Cathedral, and its bottle design is based on a 150-year-old Highland Park bottle. The nose is lemon, rubber and smoke, with caramel, orange, honey, chocolate and raisins. The palate has a little peat and spice, salty caramel, orange and white pepper, with honey returning at the end. The finish is very long, with salty liquorice and pepper.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
