This is a 15 year old Kentucky bourbon from Calumet Farm, in a 750ml bottle. It was released in honour of the Kentucky thoroughbred racing operation that produced Whirlaway, the 1941 Triple Crown winner.
Single Rack Black refers to a barrel selection taken from a specific rack in a single warehouse, rather than blended across the warehouse. Each rack's position is said to add its own maturation character, and after 15 years the oak is deeply integrated.
