This is a 10-year-old Caol Ila from Islay, distilled in February 2016, matured in a Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead and bottled by Claxton's on 27 April 2026. It is bottled at a natural cask strength of 55.7% ABV, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose has ripe plum and raisin with a maritime note and light peat smoke. On the palate, dark chocolate and cocoa come with spicy oak and a peaty character. The finish is long, with fine oak spice, smoky accents and a subtle sherry sweetness.
