This is a ten-year-old Islay single malt from Caol Ila, distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2026 by the independent bottler Best Dram. It is a single cask bottling at a cask strength of 57.6%, drawn from cask #9, which gave 674 bottles.
The whisky was finished in a first fill Chardonnay butt that came from the South Tyrolean winery St. Michael-Eppan. It is bottled without added colour and without chill filtration.
On the nose there is citrus and green apple with vanilla and salty touches. The palate is oily and full, with yellow fruit, creamy sweetness and peat smoke. The finish is long and dry, with salty, mineral notes and citrus zest.
