This is a single cask Caol Ila bottled by Ingelred Whisky at a cask strength of 56.4%. It is the first peated whisky from Ingelred and its first from Caol Ila.
The whisky was matured in a bourbon cask from April 2011 to August 2021.
The nose is gently peaty and fresh, with olive oil, wood shavings, lime zest, vanilla and fruit caramel. The palate is mildly peaty, with a sweet touch of candied sugar and citrus. The finish is fairly long and sweet, with some bitterness.
