A 15 year old single malt from Caol Ila, distilled on 11 December 2008 and bottled on 3 July 2024 at 53.5% ABV. It was matured in a refill ex-bourbon cask and then finished in an American first-fill ex-rye barrel. Only 141 bottles of 70cl were filled.
The nose combines lime, coal smoke and vanilla with rich spice, tartar sauce and cooked meat. The palate offers lemon, rye spice, barbecue brisket and leather. The finish is of good length, with strawberry jam, orange peel, peppercorn spice and burnt staves.
