Caol Ila 15 Year Old is part of the Flora & Fauna series. It is a single malt Scotch with a straw colour.
The nose is elegant rather than bold, with argan oil, walnuts and a little balsamic vinegar, then tea, fern, freshly squeezed oranges, marzipan and an old wine cellar. The palate is powerful and smoky, with quince, grape skins, coffee toffee, mocha and peppered apples. The finish is long and distinctly vinous.
