Caol Ila – 15 Years Old 2010 Passito di Caluso Cask #318080

This is a 15-year-old Caol Ila single malt from Islay, distilled on 6 October 2010 and bottled on 26 August 2026 by Finn Thomson Whisky from a Passito di Caluso cask. It is bottled at natural cask strength, with natural colour and no chill-filtration. Caol Ila sits on the Sound of Islay near Port Askaig. Its taller stills and long fermentations give a lighter, more elegant style of Islay smoke than its south-coast neighbours. Passito di Caluso is a rare sweet dessert wine from Piedmont in northern Italy. The cask lays honeyed, dried-fruit sweetness over the coastal peat.
