The whisky was bottled from a single refill American hogshead, which yielded 121 bottles.
The nose is tropical pine, apple and mango with spiced pear, then sweet Seville orange, subtle vanilla and rich smoke. The palate moves from cured meat to citrus zest, walnut, dried apricot, aniseed and black pepper. The finish is full and long, with honeydew melon and bonfire embers.
