A Caol Ila single malt from the Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice range, distilled in 2008 and bottled on 7 June 2022 at 57.7% in a 70cl bottle. It matured for 13 years in a refill American hogshead and was bottled for the Pot Still Festival 2022, with 262 bottles produced.
The nose offers vanilla, sweet charcuterie and a touch of lemon. The palate is soft and smoky, with hints of peach, honey and toasted oak. The finish is long, with pepper and bonfire.
