A 14-year-old Islay single malt from Caol Ila, distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2023 by Berry's Own Selection. It was matured in a hogshead and bottled at 52.1% in a 70cl bottle, with an outturn of 312 bottles.
The nose seems gently sweet at first, with icing sugar and a light earthy smoke, before coastal peat becomes more pronounced and shows a muscular, phenolic side. On the palate there is more peat smoke alongside damp wool, icing sugar and light floral notes.
