This is a Caol Ila single malt from Islay, distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2022 after nine years of maturation. It is a young whisky with a clear peaty character, with no special finish added.
The nose brings peat smoke, sea air, green apple, lemon peel and light vanilla. On the palate it is robust, with smoke, salt, lime, barbecue spices and a soft sweetness, and the texture is oily. The finish is long and smoky, with a mineral freshness and a light peppery note.
